Hist-2002/2005 World History 1900-Present I+II is for the second year Geography, Psychology, English, Philosophy UDE students. The aims of course are to know about the conditions of the world countries from A.D 1900 to the present day, to expose the international relations between the First World War and Second World War and to take the lessons from the past events of the world. After studying the lessons in this course, the students come to know the situations of world countries from 1900 and what happened in the world in the 20th Century.

Hist-2101+2106 Ancient Myanmar I+II is for the second year history students. In this course, there are two parts and UDE students must study the lessons that given in the course content. It is aimed to know about Myanmar cultural development in ancient time and how endeavored ancient peoples for their improvement and to expose cultural development of ancient Myanmar. After studying the lessons, students will understand ancient cultural aspects and how to prevent ancient cultural heritage. The students need to submit assignments that given for you because it is one of the parts of the examination.

Hist-2102 Ancient Southeast Asia and Hist-2107 European Expansion and Colonialism in Southeast Asia are for second year UDE history students. The aims of courses are to understand cultural development of the Southeast Asian countries, socio-economic conditions and relationship among them, and how the European expanded their territories in the world countries which were weak than European powers, and to know about the colonial rules and practices in Southeast Asian countries. Students must study both of Ancient Southeast Asia and European Expansion and Colonialism. After studying this courses, students will understand not only cultural and political developments of Southeast Asian counties in ancient time and also how the Europeans expanded their territories ,and colonial rules.
