Hist-3108/3208 Modern Myanmar II is for Third Year and First Year Honors history students. The aims of teaching this course are to understand when and how Myanmar became a colony of the British, what and how Myanmar administrative system changed during the colonial period, and how Myanmar nationalist leaders endeavored the struggle for independence.   

Hist-3109/3209 Modern Southeast Asia II is the course for the Third Year and First Year Honors students. The students can learn about the nationalist movements that fought against colonial rules of Southeast Asian countries except Thailand , and  how they endeavored their struggles for independences 

Module No Hist 3110/3210 Modern Japan cover from the period of the Tokugawa Shogunate up to modern time. This course contains Meiji Restoration and how Japan's emerged as a power after wars with China and Russia. A study of the Japanese politics, economy and foreign relations in the Post Second World War is presented in this lecture.

Modern United States of America , Hist-3111/3211 is for the 3rd year and First Year Honors history students. The aims are to expose series of the United States history from the beginning of the 20th century and how USA developed as the world power and focus study on political, economic and diplomatic history of the United States of America

Hist- 3112/3212 Modern India is for the third year/ first year honor class history students. Students can learn about the building of modern India after the gaining independence .
