Hist 5207: Historical Research and Writing II is one of the courses for 3rd year Honors and M.A Qualifying students. Historical research or historiography, "attempts to systematically recapture the complex nuances, the people, meanings, events, and even ideas of the past that have influenced and shaped the present". 

Western Historiography is the study of the writing history and study of the way history has been written. Students can be studied that historiography of Middle Ages took the form of chronicles with recorded events of year by year, how Renaissance historians approached to writing of history, and what the view of history was made to a humanistic.    

Hist 5209: Myanmar Epigraphy II is one of the courses for 3rd year Honors and M.A Qualifying students. In this course, this community is a place for all primary source data on epigraphy in the Burmese language. From the early periods of her history, Myanmar (Burma) has been rich in inscriptions. 

Hist-5210 Constitutional History of Myanmar is one of the courses for 3rd year Honors and M.A Qualifying students. In this course, student can learn about the constitutions that developed in modern societies of the world countries. Aims of the teaching of Constitutional history of Myanmar are; to understand the constitution is a body of fundamental principles according to a state or other organization is acknowledged to be governed, to impart knowledge the main purposes of the constitution and to expose the constitution is essential for trust and coordination between the government and the citizens. 

Environmental history course is one of the courses for 3rd year Honors and M.A Qualifying students. Environmental historians investigate the relation of humans to natural world form the past to present day. The aims of this course are to deepen your understanding of how humans has been affected by the natural environment,  and to aware how the human's actions have affected environment and what the result to the world that we live on.

Hist 5212 : Myanmar Economic History II is one of the courses for 3rd year Honors and M.A Qualifying students. In this course, discover the importance of economics from a historical perspective, check out the history of economic thought, and the importance of understanding the past.
