Rural Development Policy Description: In Myanmar around 70% of people are living in rural areas and agriculture is the main source of their livelihood security. As Myanmar is an agri-based country, rural development is crucial for the country’s development. Therefore, policies and active principles related to agricultural development plays as a critical role and this course will provide the essential scenario for rural development.


To understand Pesticide product information(classification) and hazards and risks associated with pesticides. Gives information for personal safety when using relevant equipment and the measures to deal with pesticide poisoning.

The course comprises five chapters explaining crop physiology in connection to crop growth and development. Upon finishing this course, students will be able to:

1.     Conduct crop growth analyses.

2.     Explain how light interception and radiation use efficiency are related to crop yield.

3.     Determine how environmental and management factors affect crop production.
