Hist-3104/3204 Modern Russia is the First Year Honors and Third Year history students. The aims of teaching modern Russia are to know the economic, social and political developments of Russia at the beginning of the 20th century, to get knowledge the establishment of socialism and economic reforms.
Hist-3102/3202 Modern Southeast Asia I is for first year Hons and third year history specialization students. The aims and objectives of this course are to expose the struggle for independence of colonial countries, to understand the endeavor of the nationalist leaders for their countries and to get knowledge about some different ways and same demand of colonial Southeast Asia.
Hist-3101/3201 Modern Myanmar is for second year Honors students and fourth year students. This course aims to well understand Myanmar historiography and writings of it, to expose historiography of Myanmar and to do comparative study of ancient and modern Myanmar.
