This course aims to introduce plant design and economics analysis for chemical engineers. It involves the determination of optimum operating conditions in experimental design, cost estimation and industrial management. The course covers management accounting fundamentals and introduces a range of accounting tools, including job and process costing, variance analysis, activity-based costing and how to assess these cost-benefit analysis.
