This course aims to introduce the fundamental principles and concepts related to pulp and paper industries and cosmetics industry. In pulp and paper industries section, it provides the conversion techniques from biomass into useful products and the factors influencing their manufacturing processes of pulp and paper products. Cosmetics industry introduces to the ingredients used in cosmetics and their functions and also the beneficial and adverse effects of organic ingredients in cosmetic formulations.
